Senior HR Consultant

As a Senior HR Consultant at ARI, you will manage client engagements and perform all the HR functions needed for a portfolio of small companies in a variety of industries therefore broadening your career and experience.

In this role, you will provide to ARI's clients recruiting, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management and HR best practices while fostering a positive relationship with the client’s management team and staff.

 Essential Responsibilities:

  • The ability to complete assigned projects with in assigned budget and timeframes.
  • Advise clients on best HR management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements by remaining current on new legislature.
  • Provide guidance and direction on performance management issues and employee relations concerns.
  • Provide benefits administration support as required, including annual open enrollment coordination.
  • Advises client management on the formulation and administration of plans and policies for human resource activities.
  • Proactively consults to client organizations by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resource issues.
  • Develops, revises, and implements HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensures client organization is in compliance with established policies and procedures and with any relevant federal, state, or local legislation.
  • Answers nonroutine requests for information on policy interpretation.
  • Assists with developing, coordinating and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow in the client organization.
  • Develops methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects.
  • Conducts periodic assessments and audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Works on special projects.
  • Leads special and cross-functional project teams.
  • Presents training sessions related to client organizations.


Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years’ hands-on experience in HR consulting.
  • Previously worked as a HR Consultant working directly with multiple external clients
  • Strong expertise in HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and 365.
  • Previous experience in ADP Run, Workforce Now a strong plus.
  • The ability to be proactive and problem solve with minimal supervision
  • Looking to work full-time.
  • Sound judgment and high level of professionalism
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to be flexible and strong attention to detail

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business/HR Management or related discipline
